Can I display the status of one project in a linked project?

Two JIRA projects.  One views data in the other.

First project is Product Enhancement Requests.  Customers have access to this project.  Second project is Product Enhancement Development.  Customers do not have access to this project.  An approved Product Enhancement Request will be linked to an Epic in Product Enhancement Delivery.

I would like customers to be able to view the status of the linked Epic in Product Enhancement Delivery in their request in Product Enhancement Requests.  How do I do this?  Thank you!

The customer need to have browse issue permission in the Product Enhancement Delivery  to view the linked Epic's status only then they would be able to see it.
