Can I get Epic Issue count to show issues in any status??

I have an Epic with seven issues in it but on the Epic Panel on The Scrum board backlog it only shows a count of 6 Issues - it only counts issues that are in the backlog or current sprint, and not issues that are in the product management queue (Pre-backlog).

I want the count to show any and all issues in the Epic, regardless of status.

Can I do this in the Epic Panel?

Am not sure if this query is still open, however, here is my thought, I had a similar scenario and based on what I explored I got to know we will need a plug-in (from marketplace) to achieve this, which came with a cost.

I instead made use of Jira Advanced Roadmap feature (which earlier was Portfolio, but now with more functionalities). You can give this a try
