Can I give permission to a specific ticket in a Jira project?

I manage a security task related Jira board. As there are many sensitive items, I want to give access to each individual user to a specific ticket only. So they could not watch any other tickets that are not for their concern.

Is there a way to do it? If not, is there an alternate solution to it?

Hi @Md_ Abrarul Huda ,

For this requirement, you could use Jira security schemes and security levels.

Basically, you could configure a security level where only a specific user (e.g. Assignee) can view the ticket and therefore, work on/edit it.
This is pretty standard practice when it comes to secured items. We, for example, have the same logic implied for 'vacation' items where Assignees can only view their own items/tasks, together with the person who reported the item (e.g. HR manager), and Team Lead who is set in a user picker field.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hello @Md_ Abrarul Huda ,

You can add an Issue Security scheme to your Jira project settings.

As an example, you can set a security level for current Assignee.
If that is set, users will only see work items that are assigned to them.

For example:
