Can I make custom field required in some cases and not required in other case?

Hello
Faced with the need to request a value for a custom field in the ticket for all but critical statuses. Is it possible to specify the conditions for the necessity of filling the field in the ticket?

When is it that you want to make the field mandatory? On Transition?
