Can I move a sub-option from one to another?

I created a custom field of the type Select List(cascading).

I added several options and sub-options. then, I want to move some sub-options to other options (as their new parents options).

I can't find the way to sovled it easily.

Now, I can only batchly change those issue from one option to another manually.

It really costs a lot of my time.

There might be a way to do that using the API, but I don't have the knowledge of the details. You would probably have it all done manually by the time you figure out if there is another way or not.
