Can I run the JIRA Integrity Checker with JIRA up? Will it impact current logged in users?

Been seeing some strange behaviors in JIRA.  Portfolio is missing issues linked to Releases.  Also, when I create a board, some of the statuses of the issues types are missing (yes missing) from the board.

Figured be better run the Integrity Checker.  Have never done this before.  Hope it will shed some light into the strange behaviors.  I've run a JIRA re-index and it didn't fix and issues.

Thoughts?

The integrity check has to be run while Jira is up - it's run as part of the system!

It does not have a significant impact on the users, although it does consume some resources while it runs.  For a large Jira, I would avoid running it during the more active times, and out-of-hours if possible, but it won't cripple it.

No, it should be fine. Anyway there is no way to power off Jira and run integrity checker. It is available from the UI. You can execute things one by one to have faster results and not getting any timeout error :)
