Hi
My developers are checking their issues from Jira and they want to search related information from my Confluence space.
However, so far I have not found a way to search Confluence space from Jira cloud application but only connect the space to Jira.
I guess Jira and Confluence are meant to be closely integrated and I think Confluence pages should be searchable from Jira just like you can check Jira issues from Confluence.
Any suggestion?
Hi Jake,
I'm not aware of a native way to search Confluence from Jira (outside of the portal in Jira Service Desk).
However, I believe I've seen people work around this by using a Search Results or Livesearch macro on a Confluence page, then displaying that page in Jira using the Confluence page gadget (though functionality for displaying macros in this gadget will vary). Might be a viable workaround depending on your situation.
I hope this helps!
Hi Zak, Thx for the info. How can I display a page in Jira besides from added space page? Or it is that I should add a page to the connected space that displays the gadget first and ask people to go to the page and search there?

Jake,
I'm not aware of anyway to do so in jira. However, there are ways in confluence you can search for pages in confluence using macros.
