Can I somehow increase width of the field on edit screen?

I would like to increase custom URL Field on edit screen, is it possible?

You can go into the source code to modify it. But you need to modify the template for whatever type field your custom field is based on. That means ALL the fields based on that will have the new size. Then you'll have to maintain that modification each time you upgrade. This is if you aren't using the ondemand service. We don't mess with source code of COTS products so I don't know where you would go, but this has been addressed before. You can probably find it if you search the forum.
