Can I use one JIRA Cloud instance to connect to a separate Confluence Cloud instance?

I have multiple divisions in my company, Division A and Division B.

Under Division A, we have a JIRA cloud instance and a Confluence Cloud instances.

Division B has different needs for JIRA, so they wanted to spin up their own JIRA cloud instance.

Can Division B's JIRA instance easily connect with Division A's Confluence instance?  (And thus benefit from the normal integrations between these two products?)

No.  You'll benefit from not having to authenticate twice since cloud uses atlassian accounts for authentication but you wont be able to share add-ons and issues.

There are some add-on's available that could make work that crosses multiple instances a little more transparent but that's not an out of the box solution.
