Can JIRA preview Adobe Portfolio files?

A user has complaint that a team member posted a PDF as an issue attachment but the file will not open like typical Adobe documents.  The file has the .pdf extension, but it is an Adobe Portfolio file.  As near as I can tell, Adobe Portfolio files are very similar to a WINZIP file:  A container for multiple files of various types.  The file can be downloaded from JIRA and opened locally with Acrobat Reader, but JIRA cannot preview the file as it does with the typical .pdf file.

Is this because, even if the Adobe Portfolio file contains only 1 fie, JIRA does not recognize Adobe Portfolio as a valid file type?
