We are using Jira 6.2.3 as a HelpDesk system, where communication with the (external) customer takes place by email.
When an attachment is added to an issue, an email goes out notifying about the event, but the attachment is not included with the email, which is a bit of a limitation in our use case.
Is it possible to get the attachment sent? I could not find this option in the management interface.
regards, Dan

Hi, Dan.
I found this question that has the answer to your question: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/180502/can-jemh-send-attachments-with-notification-emails.
It says that you can do that with JEMH:
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.javahollic.jira.jemh-ui
I hope it was helpful.
Cheers
Thanks Jaime.
I was hoping it was possible in the core, but I guess we could look at a plugin.
