Can a Remote Jira Server be hidden from users in the links menu?

Jonathan Smith July 10, 2018

When I link two Jira instances, if a user has the permissions to link an issue, they will see an option of which Jira instance the linked issue should come from:

However, there are some users who should be able to link issues, but shouldn't see there are multiple linked jira instances.  Is there a way that I can block certain users from seeing there are multiple jira servers linked in this view?

I realize that if a user doesn't have permission son the remote server, that they won't be able to see any content from the remote server if they were to select it.  But I'm trying to prevent certain users from even seeing the existence of a remote server in this window.  Thanks in advance if there is an option to do this.

Dear @Jonathan Smith,

afaik you have to raise a suggestion for this and wait until it will be implemented and released.

So long
