Can a clone rule be used for multiple projects viewed on one board

I have created a rule that clones an issue from a scrum board and then copies it to a kanban board.  It works but only for the project (MASTER PROJECT) that the board (MASTER BOARD) is related to.  We use a company wide board (MASTER BOARD) that filters projects so that the different sprints can be used on one board.  If I create a task on the Master project the rule works perfectly.  However, it will not work with tasks relating to other projects (even though they are being viewed on the same board).  I really need this to work.  Any assistance would be great.  Thanks

@Shari Fitz-Patrickmy first response would be to make your rule that clones the issue to the MASTER BOARD a global one. Or at least add the projects you want the rule to work with to it.

You can adjust the rule's scope here:

Thanks I have created a Global rule and to get around the fact that cloning does not carry all the info across I have created a link to the ticket so that all they user has to do is click on the link in the cloned issue and they will be able to see all the info.

You should be able to clone the information you need via automation. It might require you to use smart values.
