Can anyone let me know how the custom fields are affected while moving jira projects?

I wish to move all projects from a Jira standalone to Jira cloud. Jira cloud version already has a user base and a few projects. I wish to move users and projects from a jira standalone version to this cloud. The best way to move will be project by project. But I am worried that the custom fields and workflows (anything that is made in system and used by projects) will not be moved in this process. Can anyone let me know how the custom fields are affected while moving jira projects? And is there a sequence which needs to be followed here? (Ex. - first move users, then move projects)

There is no way to automatically import config like this into Cloud.  You would have to download your Cloud instance, import it into a temporary Server instance, use Apps to merge in your configuration and data, then export the results and upload it into Cloud, overwriting what you have there already.

The alternative to that is to configure incoming projects manually, then use the basic CSV imports to get the raw issue data in.
