Hi Vittal, are you referring to JIRA Server or Cloud? That information is available in our Knowledge Base:

• From Cloud to Cloud, single project import is not yet possible as it's a restricted function in Cloud. As a workaround, you can achieve this result by performing the steps How to migrate projects from one JIRA Cloud to another.  
• From Cloud or Server to Server you can find the instructions at Restoring a project from backup.
• From Server to Cloud follow the steps at How to import a project from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud.
