Can i associate a story to an initiative in portfolio

We need to be able to associate a story, that doesnt belong to an epic, with the highest level ( Initiative) .it seems like as it stands we cant really do that. Am i missing something?

Hi Ammar,

Your observation is correct. There is indeed no direct way to associate a story to an initiative. As a workaround, you could of course create a generic umbrella epic linked to each relevant initiative to account for ad hoc issues.

Can I update "Parent link" filed for story to add initiative link?

Hi @sharmila patwardhan, no you can't. You will always need an Epic above the story, which you can then link to an initiative.
