Can releases be scheduled for each component in JIRA Cloud?

Is there any way that the releases can be scheduled based on each components.

Not as far as I know.

It sounds like your components are actually products if they have different releases, so maybe you should instead work with multiple projects or streams?

If you for example work in application management so you have dozens of products to handle you can name the version with the product prefix:

jira-1.3.1, Splunk 2.4.6, dynatrace 1.1.1 and so on. As you should only have a few versions for each product active at any given time that usually works pretty well.
