Can someone help me to pull Statistics on 'Failed retest tickets' from Jira?

As part of my project, we need to monitor how many defects are retest failed? This is required to plan proactively for upcoming phases to add more window for test execution and also to monitor the Defect SLAs?

If you have a particular status to track the retest activity then you can issue a JQL query that looks for "status was retest".

Hi Claudio - Thanks for the response, but 'status was retest' will fetch all retest defect counts wherein I am interested only on the defects reopened because of failed retest. This becomes more tricky if i try to do this at the end of the project bywhen most of the defects would have been closed.
