Can't Create a Backlog

I've created boards in earlier versions of JIRA Cloud. I have admin access. I want to create a backlog for an existing project. This documentation says to do it in Settings -> Features:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/backlog-946603732.html

I can get to settings, but can't find anything at the project level or site level settings called Features. Under https://affectiva.atlassian.net/secure/ManageRapidViews.jspa there is a 'Create Board' option, but it only allows me to create boards for a new project, not an existing project. I found some documentation that said I need project access to add a board to an existing project. I'm an a site-admin, I have full access to the project I want to create a backlog for. What am I missing?

Hi @Forest Handford,

  • click on the magnifier in the sidebar
  • go to "View all boards":

  • Click on "Create board" (it's in the upper right corner)
  • Then Select Scrum or Kanban and in the next step "from a project"
  • That's it
