Can't find/update what I believe is a custom field

I need to add an option to the drop down menu for what I thought was a custom field, but I am unable to find it in the "Custom Field" list.  I did notice when looking at the layout of the page that I am working on that the symbol next to the choice is different than what I have seen on the custom field list though.  It basically acts like a single-choice field (circle w/down arrow inside), but the icon looks like a small rectangle with a line above it to the left margin.  Can someone please help me to find this field?  I need to add to the list of choices but not able to find it.  Thanks!

To add the Components, navigate to Project settings, select Components, click Create component, fill in the name, description, component lead (optional), and default assignee (optional), then click Save.
