Can the build status from Bitbucket be displayed in a JIRA ticket?

We recently started using a Jenkins plugin to notify Bitbucket of build success/failure for commits.  I noticed that JIRA tickets don't display the build status information by default, is there a configuration option for it?

Jenkins can integrate with JIRA directly using the Jenkins Plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.marvelution.jira.plugins.jenkins/server/overview

It adds a "CI Builds" tab on the bottom of all your issues and adds a status icon on your release page.
