Can the project administrator manage the field configuration ?

I saw in documentation that project administrator can manage field configuration , in my instance i logged on as project administrator and i can not manage field configuration 

 Can someone help me

Hello,

Project Administrators can not manage field configurations. Only Jira Administrators.
