We want to do the synchronization between two JIRA systems, and we would like to know
what will happen if two JIRA instances connect to a same databese. Is there anyone have tried this?
Please help, thanks!
If the second JIRA doesn't detect the fact the first one is running already and refuse to start, then it will destroy the database.
In other words, don't even bother trying, it's not going to work.
If you do want several JIRA servers running with one set of data, look at "JIRA Data Centre". If that's not what you mean by "synchronisation", then you'll need to explain the requirement more.
