Hi, Trying to Add custom field on the Release notes in the Release Tab on cloud, but could not find the solution for it, is this not available for cloud version ?
@Parul Unfortunately, there is no way to do this as of now. The closest thing would be to create the notes in Confluence, which will automatically create a macro of your release notes, and then you can edit the fields displayed in the table.
If you want to create the macro yourself, here is the JQL query to insert into the standard Jira marco:
fixVersion = #
Replace # with the fix version number in the URL.
There is an issue gathering interest that you can vote for: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-41489
Hi @Parul
Releases tab that is natively offered within Jira can not be modified to show any additional fields. Even for server version, the vm files need to be modified & it is not possible to do it from the Jira UI itself.
If you are just looking for copy-paste kind of release notes functionality, do look at the free version of our Automated release notes app. You will come across the limitations only when you want to automate the release notes generation.

@Parul it is possible to manage automated release notes permissions on the free app as well. Follow the steps as mentioned here https://amoeboids.atlassian.net/wiki/x/PgAVD
