Can we add Email DL (Distribution List) as Technical and Billing Contact

Hi,

I am looking to add Email DL (Distribution List) as Technical and Billing Contact so that members added to the DL can receive the notification to avoid the dependency from the single technical/billing contact.

Can we add Email DL (Distribution List) as Technical and Billing Contact?

No extra work required like creating the user account for the DL or anything else correct?

Simply go to my.atlassian.com and add the DL as technical and billing contact and member will start getting notification accordingly?

if you are able to create a Atlassian community account with the email, then no worries.

I think Atlassian don’t know about the email as it is a single email or group email (DL).

give a try, I think it’s not a problem.

You need to create a user with the DL as the email. I've done it many times.
