Can we change jira server after complete installation and license attachment ?

Hi Team ,

We have installed jira on the server and associated jira license against server ID:BWFI-2NK6-F4DU-IV5S . But due technical problem, we need to delete that particular server and install new jira software on the different server and attach license key. is it possible?

Hello,

I guess this license will work for your new server with a new Server Id. Try it.

Yeah, it will work.   The server id is only required to first create the license key.  You don't actually have to use that license key on the server with that same serverid.
