Can we change security settings to allow PMs to create a project with a shared configuration?

Currently, only Admins can create projects with a shared configuration ( see

We'd like to find a way to allow Project Managers to create projects using a shared configuration without giving them Admin permissions.  Is this possible or not?

Hey Katherine,

Projects with a shared configuration can only be created by administrators.

If you are using Server, there is an add-on that allows you to do delegate this to other roles. More info at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211157/delegated-project-creator-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview

Thank you. That would have been a good solution, however, it's not available for the Cloud.
