Can we change the plugin themes as well?

Hi

As we have dark mode enabled in Jira, just wondering if that mode is applicable on the add on plugins as well. We are using few plugins in our projects however, those are appearing with white background only, if we turn on the dark mode in Jira. I think we can have better UI to handle this (attached a screenshot for reference).

Hi @Geetanjali Sharma,

(Many) marketplace apps are developed by third party vendors in the Atlassian ecosystem. While the ability for marketplace partners to start applying theming to their apps was announced around the end of March, 2023 (see this developer community post), it does take time to implement these changes throughout.

As mentioned in that post, some vendors will be quicker than others and it will take some time before every app will be readily themed, but we'll get there gradually.

It takes some time. At SaaSJet, we started implementing a dark theme just the moment we heard Jira has it. For now, we have applied dark mode for Issue History for Jira and Smart Jira Forms, and working on other apps 🖤🤘
