Scenario:
We are planning to migrate/import a Couple of projects from another Org's cloud instance to ours.
We were exploring c2c migration options but there is a limitation for us to use this option.
The issue is that we cannot grant Org admin access for the other person (org admin) to our instance and vice versa due to legal reasons.
And as the first requirement to perform a c2c migration is for the person to have org admin rights in both orgs, we think that this option is not suitable for us.
We tried the CSV export/import process but a lot of things are not importing (Eg Issue link, Epic Links, Attachments etc.).
We have about 700 issues to import and creating epic links via CSV is way too much complicated and long.
Question:
Can we export a few selected projects ( Not the whole site) from cloud to server/Datacenter instance and then import those Projects to our Cloud Instance?
Is it possible to export a few projects to Server Instance?
Thanks,
Hafiz
Hello @Hafiz.Butt
Another option you might consider is setting up an intermediate Jira Cloud site to which you can migrate the selected projects from your company. Then grant the other company's org administrators access to that intermediate site, and let them complete the migration into their site.
Would you be able to do that and stay within the boundaries of your legal limitations?
