Can we have a Jira Cloud custom field with choices that are colors only?

We use the Jira Cloud instance and have a custom field of Health. We have dropdown choices of Red, Yellow, Green but would rather have these options be the colors themselves rather than the words Red, Yellow, and Green. Is there a way to do this in the Cloud version? I believe there may be some plugins available for the server version to accomplish this.

A really simple solution would be to color the cards on the board (you would not see the color when you open the issue though, just on the board).

Appreciate the tip but we are not viewing our issues as cards in the Kanban view, just as filtered lists.
