Can we have multiple Jira Internal Directories in one JIRA instance?

We would like to create another JIRA Internal Directory (without LDAP), but do not see the option to do so. First, is this possible? Second, if it is, how would we go about doing it?

Short answer, no, you cannot have multiple internal directories. You can only have multiple external directories.
