Can we make zephyr custom fields as required or mandatory

I have created a custom field in Zephyr and have added it to my Executions for my project. I am having a problem with the testers populating the field during execution and I would like to make it required. Is it possible to make a custom field in Zephyr required?

Currently the zephyr custom fields are only optional. If your business requirement needs the custom fields to be marked as mandatory, you can use JIRA's custom field for the same. We will definitely put forward your request to our product team to have the option to mark Zephyr custom fields to be optional in future.
