Can we move a project in a JIRA SandBox env to another JIRA cloud site in a simple and a quick way? (without doing and export and import)?

Cheers,

Hansi

Hi @Hansika Wijenayake,

I am Marlene from codefortynine.

With our app Deep Clone for Jira you can easily bulk clone issues from one Jira cloud instance to another.

Currently, it is not possible to clone entire project configurations, but we might provide that feature in future. I will update this post, once this feature is available.

Cloning between instances with Deep Clone is very easy. After you've installed Deep Clone to both instances, you simply have to

  • Set up the Deep Clone Instance Clone
  • Create the project in the target instance manually
  • Filter for all issues you want to bulk clone in your source instance
  • Click the Deep Clone button
  • Under "target project" select "Instance Clone"
  • Select the instance and project you want to clone into
  • Configure your bulk clone

Don't hesitate to reach out to our support, if you have questions or feedback.
