Can we obtain Development tim from Github using Github for Jira?

I would like to track the development time ( creating a branch to closing a pull request). I can link the branch, commits, and pull request to a Jira issue so can the same be used to track the development time.

You mean the worklog to be updated from GitHub ? this can be done adding the worklog mention in commit. Like #time 2d in commit message

In case if you are looking to update like automatically get the time between create branch to close PR that wouldn't be possible.
