Can we restrict the jira user to attach only one file at once

Hi All,

Can we restrict the users to attach only one file at once not many attachments at single click in jira. Is this possible without add-on's.

Will you please confirm in this.

Out-of-box, in JIRA, there is configuration or functionality to restrict the number of attachments per issue. 

You can try checking out Attachment Checker for JIRA. It can limit the number of attachments per issue.

Also, you can configure the attachment size from the admin section such that it doesn't allow user to upload multiple files. Keep the attachment size to a minimum so that users cannot upload multiple files in one-click.
