Hi All,
Can we upload the timesheet in JIRA ?
Any comments on this please?
Note: There is an import CSV option under issues menu >> if we upload our timesheet from there, will this data be populated under Timesheets entries.
Please clarfiy.
Thanks,
Gopal
Hello @Gopalhdp Rao,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Just to make sure that we are on the same page, I would like to confirm if when you mention Timesheets you mean the Tempo timesheets or another add-on.
The CSV import is used to import tickets from another Jira site or another service, so it will create tickets on your site and not timesheets.
Please, let us know more details about what you are using and what you need to do for us to check here what is the best option.
Regards,
Angélica
Hi Angelica,
Thanks for your response. I am not using Tempo Timesheets here. But the objective is to upload the worklog from CSV automatically. Is there any better way to handle effectively.
Thanks,
Gopal

Thank you for the details, Gopal.
It's possible to import only worklogs via CSV.
Importing worklog entries
Your CSV file can contain worklog entries. For example:
Summary,Worklog
Only time spent (one hour),3600
With a date and an author,2012-02-10 12:30:10;wseliga;120
With an additional comment,Testing took me 3 days;2012-02-10 12:30:10;wseliga;259200Note that you need to use seconds in order to track time spent.
I found this thread about importing only the worklog. So, to map it correctly, you must add the Issue Key to make sure it will be added to the desired tickets.
