So far we had purchased Jira core license for 2000 licenses and using for once instance. Recently we had created one more jira instance for few more projects, can we use the same core license for this new instance also ? will it work fine as like that instance ? please let us know.

No. A license is per instance. However if you are replacing the old instance then yes that license key will work. You just can’t have two active instances with the same key.
