Can you attach Word Docs or Excel docs to Issues on my board?

I can attach an excel doc but it won't open from the thumbnail - it states "Jira can't preview this"...

Hi @Michelle Dunn ,

This feature is indeed not working at the moment. We do have the below bug ticket open in order to track this issue in our system:

As you can see the bug has been added to the short term backlog. You may want to vote for it and set yourself as a watcher so that you will be notified in case of any update/progress.

The bug will be addressed according to the Atlassian Cloud bug fixing policy.
