Can you change the link type used by Roadmap Dependencies?

When you create a dependency in Roadmap (drag the + symbol) it creates a link between issues of 'Blocks / Is Blocked by'.

I would like to use a different link type so i can sync between Roadmap and the BigPicture app. BigPicture is powerful but too much for most users. The dates align but the links do not as BigPicture uses a custom link type 'must be done before / must be done after'

Also i use 'blocks / is blocked by' for technical blockage which may or may not be the reason for a schedule dependency.

Can I tell Roadmap to use a different link type?

You can't currently configure the basic Roadmap to use a different link type. We're still trying to strike that right balance between simplicity and power, but aren't there yet.

Your use case makes sense, but we can't promise anything in the short term.

But if you'd like to vote on this ticket, it does help us prioritise.
