Can you display sub-task due date in the parent issue screen in a Next-gen project?

I have a request to add to the Epic parent view the child sub-task due date. Currently this view shows the subtask name, assignee, and current stat us. Essentially they're asking what the post below solves but I wasn't sure if I should pursue this since it's Next-Gen :
