Just like you can assign custom fields to projects can this be done with SLAs, so a certain project cant search other projects SLAs?

Hello Robert,

By default, SLAs are project specific, so each project has its own sets of SLAs and its not visible by teams that are not allowed in that project.

That been said, can you please elaborate a little bit more what do you mean by Search menu? If possible, provide us a screenshot of where you would like to hide the SLA fields from.

If you are talking about a JQL query of a filter, the search you perform there is global and you can use any SLA fields or Custom fields of all the projects, however, only issues which the customer can see will return any values on those.

For more information about SLAs, you can check the documentation below:

Setting up SLAs

Hi,

Yes i mean the JQL query can see all projects even tho users permissions are to certain projects only.

Thanks

Rob

Hello Rob,

Thank you for confirming.

Although you can set the SLA value of a project you can't see in the JQL, the JQL query should return only the issues from the projects which you can see.

That been said, the expected behavior is to return nothing in the query if you set an SLA of a project that you cannot access.

Let me know if it answers your question.
