Can you search the history of a ticket to check if it was in a sprint at some point?
I deleted a sprint by mistake, I know I can't get it back.
But when I deleted it all the tickets in that sprint moved to the backlog. The backlog is large and I wanted to try search it to see it to find any tickets that were in my deleted sprint.
As I'm sure there will be a note in history saying it was moved from the deleted sprint name into the backlog.
Jira issue history shows if a ticket was moved from the sprint to backlog only at the issue level.
There is the Issue History add-on where you can get a list of tickets that were updated. You will see all the changes including sprint details in the grid. It will look like on the screen below.
My team has developed this app. If you're comfortable with this solution, try if it will be helpful in your case.
Kind regards,
Yuliia
Thanks for the reply.
I figured it out.
I was able to search for any tickets I've updated within the last 3 hours and this showed me everything I moved (as I normally don't use this project board, it was easy to see my moves)
I used
issuekey in updatedBy(username, -3h) and project = "projectname"
