Cannot Set Custom Field Value to be displayed

Zack Lindberg June 4, 2020

I have a custom issue type called Story Bug in my project. It's a subtask issue type that is renamed and carries the bug icon. I have a field called Allocation that is configured to be displayed in this issue but its currently not displaying.

How can the field value be set if I cannot view the field in the first place? I do not understand why this field is not present.

After using the where is my field? here is what is displayed:

When I click Configure from the issue I get a list of fields. The field that I am looking for is located in that list but still not displaying on the issue itself.

Hi Zack,

What does it look like when you click on Customize or All that shows the list of fields?

Trying going to Settings > Issues > Screen Schemes

Then click on Configure on the right hand side for the screen scheme in question.

Can you post what you see there?

Are there multiple screens for different functions? Create, Edit, View?

Hey John here is what I see. I do not have multiple screens for different functions

I am baffled because it says it is there and you don't have different views of the screen.

Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like when you click on Configure fields after you click on Edit?
