Cannot Setup Approvers in Workflow

I have followed the steps here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-an-approval-to-a-workflow/ but the check-box for adding an approval step doesn't show.

Hi @Tom Rufo ,

The Approvers in workflow is for Service projects, like you can see in the documentation you shared.

Kindly check the project type of the project where you are trying to implement the Approvers workflow, if it is software, then this is the reason the option is not appearing.
