Cannot creat Gantt charts with BigGantt

I have installed BigGantt but when I try to create a gantt chart it says that I do not have permission to create gantt charts

You don not have permission to create new gantt

• Go to System - Addons - Manage Addons - BigGantt - Permissions and add the necessary groups or users and you should now be able to create the gantt charts

I cannot use Big Gantt either.  The error message - typo and all - is this, verbatim:

"You don not have permission to create new gantt"

This happens when I attempt to click the grayed-out "+ New Gantt" button in the top-right corner.

Any solution?
