Cannot create issue because of assignee problem

Blocked trying to create my first issue:

Assignee: The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission OR Unassigned issues are turned off.

Cannot find default assignee (search for 'assignee' turns up empty).

Unassigned issues are turned ON in admin.

ps: We have migrated from server.

Hi @Rajesh Shah,

You should be able to check and update the default assignee for a project by navigating to Project settings > Details . Default assignee is one of the settings on that page.

I am set as the Project Lead and the Default Assignee is 'Project Lead'.

Something is still missing.

I figured it out, in addition to being Admin, i needed to be added to developer group.
