Cannot create new-gen project with "Share settings with an existing project"

I am trying to use an already-existing project and make that the template for a new project I want to create. However, when I go to do so, I don't see any of my existing projects (all new-gen) in the dropdown -- I currently have 5 existing projects.

Am I missing a step here? Is there a different way to "Share settings with an existing project"?

@Nancy Tcheou , welcome to the Community. It looks like you are trying to create a classic project. Is that what you are wanting? You can only use the "Share setting w/ an existing project when creating a Classic project and you can only share from another Classic project. When you create a NG project it is completely independent of other projects there is no sharing of settings.

Thanks for the reply, Jack. Ah, I see now. I wish sharing settings was available next-gen projects!
