Cannot create story in backlog

Andrzej Kozlowski September 26, 2022

Hello,

I cannot create story in backlog. I see only Epic, Bug and Task. Under Project settings/Issue types I see following: Story, Bug, Epic, Task, Sub-Task. Project type is company-managed software.

@Andrzej Kozlowski usually epic should not appear in this drop down

Andrzej Kozlowski September 26, 2022

True, When I create Team-managed software I do not see epic and have story. But for company-managed software project I see such settings.

Also please check your story create screens if any important field is missing Like summary

Looks like I can create story globally or from roadmap board and nothing is missing. We migrated from Azure DevOps and person responsible for migration told me that he switchedepics with stories to keep links. This probably explains this weird behaviour
