There is no Sprint Report option for me and all fixes on Jira forums don't seem to work.

I would like to enable Sprint reports to capture more easily the sprint information and save it. At this time I'm doing it manually, I'm sure there is a way to activate Jira Sprint reports.

Has anyone had this issue before and resolved it? The image below is showing the options i have!

Hello @Sean .

Do you consider using some third-party add-ons from the Atlassian Marketplace?

I guess, you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud developed by my SaaSJet team.

You can generate 7 types of reports based on a necessary sprint.

The Time in Status report shows how long issues have spent in each of your workflow statuses. So you can identify on which stage somedelays occur.

The Assignee time report display how long each team member has been working on each issue.

Assignee Time.gif

The Average time report shows the average time an issue has spent in each status during the chosen period (sprint, for example).

The Status Count report calculates how many times an issue has been in each status.

And about others you can learn more on our documentation page.

Also,  it generates a Cycle and Lead time report which shows the whole issue lifecycle.

You can also get a 30-day free trial period to assure whether it is helpful in your work.

If you have any questions, please, ask and I'll provide you with additional information.

Hope it helps

Hi @Sean .

What do you mean by Sprint report? What issue are you trying to solve?

Sprint Burndown Chart is a good option to see work done throughout the sprint and the total work remaining for the current sprint.

Hi @Sean .

If you are open to 3rd party solutions, we include Sprint Reports in our dashboards at minware. Since we combine Jira ticketing, code sources, and calendar data we are able to provide a global view of the entire SDLC.

We offer a free trial, let me know if you are interested in checking it out!

Hi @Sean .

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

As an alternative, you can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app.

  • This app has a dynamic status grouping feature so that you can generate various valuable reports as time in status, time in assignee, status entry dates and status counts, cycle time and lead time, average/sum reports by any field(e.g. average in progress time by project, average cycle time by issue creation month).
  • You can search issues by Project, Issue Type, Status, Assignee, Issue Creation/Resolution Date(and any other Date field) and JQL Query.
  • Status durations are calculated according to the working calendar you define. Once you enter your working calendar into the app, it takes your working schedule into account too. That is, "In Progress" time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days.
  • You can set different duration formats.
  • You can export reports in CSV file format and open them in MS Excel.
  • You can also add this app as a gadget to your Jira dashboards and reach “Status Time” from Issue Detail page.
  • You can enable/disable access to Status Time reports&gadgets and Issue Detail page per project, users, groups or project role.

If you are looking for a free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Free.

Hope it helps.
