Cannot start free user-installed Jira apps

Hi,
I have installed two free Jira apps but they don't show up in the Apps dropdown menu. I can see them in Apps/Manage apps using the User-installed filter. Here, each app has Uninstall button shown so I cannot start them from there.  

When I search for these two apps in Apps/Explore more apps, their status is "Added", which confirms they have been installed.

Any clue as to why I cannot start the apps?

They are
1) Miro (formerly RealtimeBoard) for Jira
2) Epics Map for Jira

I have found how to start these two apps by accident. Their icons appear in two different places in Jira. I was expecting to see them in the Apps dropdown menu, but it looks like they are not there by design.
